I have a campaign running in Varisia according to 1e homebrew rules :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990098407619203444.post-12447358381619961392011-05-02T11:19:05.511-05:002011-05-02T11:19:05.511-05:00Indeed. It's a very beefy adventure, and it came with a great color poster map of the starting village. The poster map alone makes it worth the price of the issue.Jeremy Deramhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13166744272459044563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990098407619203444.post-4596512645439947172011-05-02T05:32:53.999-05:002011-05-02T05:32:53.999-05:00Hmm. Come to think of it, the guys at Paizio went a bit old school themselves a few years ago with the Age of Wyrms campaign in Dungeon magazine.
The first adventure: the Whsipering Cairn, was a brutal Dungeon romp. I can't remember exactly how many pcs bought it in that first dungeon but believe me when I tell you it was a lot.Dangerous Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11494853825931603065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990098407619203444.post-75351303363049897372011-05-01T18:54:31.114-05:002011-05-01T18:54:31.114-05:00Yup. I've never been part of the school that believes an Old School playing style belongs with Old School rules.
Don't get me wrong, some rules lend themselves to an OSR style of play more than others. But Pathfinder strikes me as being Old Schoolable. I'll be keeping track of your progress with great interest.Dangerous Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11494853825931603065noreply@blogger.com
